Frequently asked.
Answers to the questions we hear most about scans, reports and what you get.
Clir assesses the rendered page you submit with automated accessibility checks. The free scan shows a preview of detected findings; the full report contains the complete findings from that same assessment.
Clir tests the page the way visitors experience it, maps each finding to the relevant WCAG criterion and shows the affected element, the visitor impact and a recommended fix. It is a fast, evidence-based way to find and fix the technical barriers behind ADA and WCAG concerns, and to check that your changes worked.
Clir works on your actual pages. It finds issues in your site's code and content and shows your team what to change, instead of adding a widget on top.
A one-time purchase that unlocks the complete findings from your scan, including severity, affected elements, relevant WCAG references where applicable, plain-language visitor impact, remediation guidance, and a downloadable PDF. Real-world context is added where a relevant source has been verified.
Yes. Each finding provides technical context about the affected element, the accessibility rule involved, visitor impact, and recommended remediation. The report preserves selectors and affected-element counts from the scan.
A free scan covers the page you submit. A multi-page assessment covers the pages you confirm from a list we propose, so you choose the scope.
Clir maps findings to WCAG 2.2 Level A and AA success criteria where supported. The methodology page explains the assessment in detail.
A professional report for the page or pages in your scope: every confirmed finding with severity, affected elements, WCAG references, plain-language visitor impact and remediation guidance, a Fix Pack and a downloadable PDF. It is an automated accessibility assessment, not a certification or legal opinion.
Rescan or use your included rechecks. Each result reflects the page as it was when scanned, so a new scan shows exactly what changed.
Use Agency sign in at the top of any page. Enter your workspace reference and the email you bought with, and we email a one-time link. There is no password. A link in your Agency Pass email lasts 7 days; a new one you request lasts 30 minutes, and each link works once. On a device that is still signed in, your workspace opens straight away.
After your developers make changes, Clir can check the pages of your assessment again. For each original finding, the recheck document shows what was found then, what is found now, and how Clir decided. Each assessment includes 2 rechecks for 90 days, with no account.
It shows, finding by finding, what was found then and what is found now, so you can see exactly which fixes landed. It is an automated check of your original findings and is not a certification or a statement of legal compliance.
